The Spree flows 200 meters away and practically for the door the U2 leaves in the underground station Klosterstrasse (U2) towards Ruhleben or Pankow. As one of the oldest streets in Berlin, Klosterstrasse houses many historical buildings such as the ruins of the monastery church or the Palais Podewil. Away from the party miles, it is rather quiet here, but you can still go out there. You can eat and drink well at Ännchen von Thalau on the Rolandufer or hearty in the last instance on Waisenstraße.
