The apartment is located in Berlin's Friedrichshain district on the Alt Stralau peninsula on the Spree River, 700 meters from the Treptower Park S-Bahn station and 1200 meters from Ostkreuz. It is on the ground floor, and the terrace is furnished and faces the river. Adjacent to the terrace is a private garden of approx. 30 square meters. As the apartment is small (35 square meters), an architect was commissioned to design custom-made furniture with great attention to detail, making optimal use of the available space. The bed has built-in base cabinets with plenty of storage space, and the modern kitchen island has all the necessary appliances. The dining room gets plenty of light thanks to large windows and has a table for 4-6 people, a sofa bed, and a TV with a wall mount. The bathroom is spacious and bright, thanks to an acrylic glass module that provides additional light. The apartment is ideal for those staying in Berlin temporarily, whether for business or pleasure. Ideal for use by a single person or a couple. The area is beautiful, green, and unspoiled, with the large Treptower Park opposite the apartment. The building dates from 2008 and was one of the first to be built on the riverbank on the Stralau peninsula. If you enjoy jogging, there is a path right outside the balcony that leads across the island. You can go stand-up paddleboarding on the Spree—all the way to Kratzenbruck or Liebesinsel. The almost untouched Rummelsburger Bucht is recommended for a walk, e.g., with your dog. For those who love big city life, the apartment is also ideally located. Thanks to the direct S-Bahn connection, you can quickly reach anywhere within the inner ring. The lively Friedrichshain neighborhood is a 20-minute walk away. As the residential area is still quite new, there are not too many restaurants or supermarkets in the area. However, everything is easily accessible by bike—the nearest supermarket, for example, is 300 meters away. The parking situation on site is good, and there are bikes and e-scooters available for rent everywhere. The building also has a modern underground parking garage with video surveillance if you want to rent a space for your vehicle.
