Welcome to Berlin! This lovingly furnished apartment is centrally located right in the heart of the city with an abundance of restaurants, shops and bars. Berlin-Mitte is not only the centrepiece of the city, it is also the place where the town became to be: at the riverside of the Spree is where it all began sometime during the 13th century with a small settlement. The reconstructed Nikolaiviertel with its narrow alleysmit and rustique restaurants, museums, and its impressive church remain a symbol of Berlin's past and attract tourists from around the world. Public transportation is ideal, since the next metro station "Rosenthaler Platz" and "Naturkundemuseum" (450 m), as well as the suburban train station is in close proximity to the apartment (500 m). Buses and tramways leave every couple of minutes from the "Pappelplatz" across the street. The central station is 2,3 km away. Supermarkets (Rewe 2 min walk) and other shopping facilities, as well as a large variety of restaurants and bars are in close walking distance. The location of the apartment is an ideal starting point for all the main attractions in Berlin without having to use a car. The apartment is located on the third floor (built in 2011), accessible via elevator. It is fully funished with a well-equipped kitchen (stove, oven, dish washer), a living area with a sleeper (140 x 200 cm) and bathroom with a floor heating system (includes a washing maschine and dryer). The apartment seems spaceous thanks to floor-depth windows or french balconies. A cellar compartment is also available (4 m²).
