The recently renovated apartment is quietly located on the ground floor of a typical Berlin back house and is nicely furnished for a pleasant stay. It is bright due to the large windows. The high ceilings and the semi-open floor plan create a nice feeling of space. Through a separate small entrance area, with storage for shoes and jackets, you enter the fully equipped, new kitchen. A practical dining area invites you to have breakfast. Through the openly kept passage area it continues into the living room where one can sit together comfortably or relax on the couch while watching TV or reading. The adjoining bedroom is spacious and offers a comfortable double bed and closet as well as a workstation with wi-fi for undisturbed home office. The small practical bathroom is equipped with a shower, hair dryer and storage facilities. The apartment is located in the up and coming, central district of Moabit. The charming neighborhood Westfälisches Viertel, with restaurants and cafes, good bakers, small stores and studios is just around the corner. A bit further you reach the bustling Turmstraße with additional shopping opportunities, the beautiful Armenius Market Hall, as well as countless other cafes, bars and restaurants. For everyday necessities, there is an Edeka supermarket and a gas station 200m away. Especially nice is the close proximity to the river Spree. Within a 5 minutes walk you are at the tree-lined riverbanks for relaxing walks, for sports or picnics. The central park Tiergarten begins a bit behind. Transportation Moabit is characterized by its central location between East and West Berlin, so many places in Berlin can be reached easily. Several bus lines stop within 5 minutes walk of the apartment. The subway (Hansaplatz) is a 10-minute walk away. A little further, the S-Bahn (Tiergarten) is also within walking distance, which allows you to travel quickly through Berlin.
