Incredibly gorgeous apartment, owned by a British/Australian couple, both musicians. It's quietly situated on the first floor within the second courtyard of a traditional Berlin Altbau. It's only a few steps away from the Paul Linke Ufer in Kreuzberg and famous cafes like La Maision. High ceilings and large windows. Balcony with French doors and beautiful, calming view to the green courtyard. Close to Aldi and Edeka supermarkets, endless cafes, bars and restaurants. Easily accessible with the U8 (Schönleinstr) und bus M29. It has been lovingly restored with a particular emphasis on the use of natural materials, careful to preserve the original character as far as possible. Clay plaster has been used throughout with the addition of Tadelakt (a Moroccan plaster technique which gives a seamless, grout free finish) in the bathroom. Both plasters are breathable substances which contribute to a comfortable room atmosphere. The kitchen is stylish and fully equipped. The main living space has been divided into living /sleeping quarters ; the vintage Danish table and chairs have been chosen for their beauty and durability. Storage has been carefully considered and integrated into the room and quality light fittings have been used throughout.There is a high speed internet connection. A small, self contained entrance contains additional storage, an entry phone and a convenient USB connection to charge a phone . We hope that our future tenant will be very happy here. We've been renting this flat for the last five years and everyone loved their stay.
