My fully fitted apartment is situated in trendy Prenzlauer Berg area of Berlin, right opposite the famous Mauerpark. Away from traffic, the flat is located on the first floor of a courtyard wing. I have lived there for 17 years until I moved with my growing family to another part of Berlin. With a double bedroom and generous living room, kitchen with dining table and bathroom with tub, it offers an oasis of tranquillity on 50 m², though you can still stay connected with the world through high-speed connection through WIFI. Fittings include a double bed (140 cm x 200 cm), wardrobe, sofa bed, shelving units, Cabinets, chairs, side tables, and several lamps. The kitchen boasts a recently renewed fridge with freezer compartment, gas oven and hob, double sink, and large cupboard. The washing machine and central heating are also located here. The apartment is equipped with towels and bedlinen, hairdryer, crockery and cutlery, as well as pots and pans. The location is one of the most popular in Prenzlauer Berg, with the famous Mauerpark across the road. Gleimstrasse boast a host of eateries and trendy bars, as well as shops and the cinema “Colosseum”. In walking distance are the “Kulturbrauerei” venue and Max-Schmeling-Halle where many international stars perform. Public transport easily connects you with all areas of Berlin. The central station can be reached by tram in 30 minutes, Schoenefeld airport (BBI) by train in 45 minutes. There is an enormous variety of shops in walking distance, ranging from a large organic supermarket to Aldi. Two shopping centres, Schoenhauser Allee and Gesundbrunnen, are also around the corner. Plenty of individual shops give the area its special atmosphere, and the many late-night shops allow to for 24-hour convenience.
