The quiet residential area is located in the north-west of the city and thus in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition grounds, the Olympic Stadium, the Waldbühne, Charlottenburg Palace (park) and the 115 motorway (Spandauer Damm exit). Allotment gardens are just around the corner, an ideal place to go for a walk and buy some honey directly from the beekeeper. Bus and underground stations are within walking distance (S-Bahn station Westend (Ringbahn), underground station Neu-Westend (U2), bus M45 (direction Zoo), bus 104 (runs through the whole city). Reichsstraße is the main shopping street in the area and offers supermarkets, drugstores, pharmacies, doctors, bakeries, restaurants/cafés/bistros/pubs as well as small boutiques, bookshops and more. The weekly market in Preußenallee (Fri, 8 am - 1 pm) is also within walking distance.
