The apartment is located in the beautiful artists' quarter of Friedenau with a view over the roofs, bird's nests, treetops, chimneys... Many artists and writers like Marlene Dietrich, Rosa Luxemburg, Max Frisch, Uwe Johnson... used to live and work here in the nearby streets. The house is a solid old building that was renovated and rebuilt in the 1950s. It is located on Schillerplatz, which is wonderfully laid out with trees, flowers and benches to sit and chat and where there are nice cafés around. Each room has a balcony so you can enjoy the sun in the morning and afternoon. The kitchen and the bathroom are also fully equipped and have been completely renovated. There is an elevator in the house, which is very convenient for the 4th floor. The bus 186, which goes directly to the wonderful Grunewald, stops right outside the front door. The Friedrich-Wilhelm Platz with the metro line U9 is a 2-minute walk away.
