About

Rudow is the southernmost district of the Neukölln borough. It borders on the districts of Britz and Baumschulenweg to the north, Buckow and Gropiusstadt to the west, Johannisthal and Altglienicke to the east and Schönefeld, Waßmannsdorf and Großziethen, which are located in Brandenburg, to the south. LOCATION/ TRANSPORTATION/ RECREATION/ SPORTS/ NATURE: To the northeast and east, Rudow is bordered by the federal highway 113. The optimal traffic connection to the new airport BER makes Rudow additionally very attractive as a residential area. The train station of the same name with the U7 subway line connects residents with all of Berlin. The express bus line X7 continues the excellent connection without intermediate stop to the airport. Rudow is known for its commitment to sports, and TSV Rudow 1888 is one of the largest sports clubs in Berlin. The main focus of the club is youth work. There are also other clubs in the equestrian and sports shooting area. In Rudow there are over seven parks, including Rudower Fließ the Rudower Höhe and also the Dörferblick. Among the sights is the village church Rudow from the 13th century. INFRASTRUCTURE: The surrounding area is characterized by single-family and multi-family houses with beautifully landscaped green areas. Shopping facilities for daily needs, schools and kindergartens, restaurants, medical centers, connections to public transport and the Gropius Passagen are in the immediate vicinity. SCHOOLS: Rudow is home to five elementary schools, a high school, a grammar school and a music school, among others. There are 7 kindergartens and daycare centers in the vicinity of the property.
