Property description Originally, this apartment was designed to serve as both private living space or as a possible residence for artists with exhibition space. This apartment was extensively renovated by Swiss studio RAUM404 and German architect Malte Wittenberg. The challenge was to integrate private and public areas into the highly flexible and dynamic living space. The architects had designed a series of fixtures with strong and functional materials to reflect Berlin's nightlife as well as its industrial character. The spacious living room shines through the many windows that allow direct light to flood into the hallway. A wall with two side openings separates this area from the kitchen. The fully equipped fitted kitchen features white fronts as well as a monumental black granite stone countertop. A kitchen table, made of the same material, provides ample space for guests here. From the hallway is the, in a high-quality built-in cube, guest shower room, which is worked in the dark design. In the rear area of the apartment now opens up the private area with 3 bedrooms including passage room, from which again a bath and a small balcony to the courtyard are accessible. A cellar room completes the offer. The apartment has been further renovated in collaboration with Berlin based designer Katrin Greiling and French artist Camille Henrot in 2021 to achieve its colourful new palette and soft tones.
