This apartment is an oasis in the middle of the city... With wonderful views onto the Television Tower, amazing courtyards and a magic green area, but just a hop away from cafes, trams, and subways. Wonderful place to stare out of the windows, listen to music, and relax while you plan your next Berlin adventure. First floor. Very close to the park, Volkspark Friedrichshain (5 minutes walk), right on the border to Prenzlauerberg and close to Mitte and Kreuzberg. This apartment really is a home, a home for people who like walls filled with books in different languages, with surrounding trees to remind whoever is lounging on the couch that living things do thrive in this bustling metropolis. The rooms that make the apartment are the beautiful and spacious living room with kitchen (50 m2) (with a larger balcony where you can spend your time relaxing, reading, having your meals surrounded by trees and silence), the master bedroom with view on a green courtyard, two offices sharing a second balcony with view on the second courtyard and the bordering green area as well; one of them has a couch and the other one a second bed (large enough for two). There are two bathrooms, a smaller one with shower and the second one with shower and bathtub and washing machine. Hi-speed wireless internet and TV. I have speakers in the living room that you can connect to for playing music. The tram lines on Petersburgerstraße and Landsbergerallee (3 minutes walk) will take you to Prenzlauerberg, the central station, the East Side Gallery, Mitte, Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt and a couple of S Bahn stops that will thereby connect you to the whole city. You can access a U bahn line in 5 minutes walk. There are several supermarkets in the vicinity and a wonderful vegetable and handcraft market on Saturday in the centre of Friedrichshain. It’s a very quiet neighborhood, but there is an amazing old cinema close to our place and some restaurants and cafes. If you are looking for night life, shops and more cinemas you can find them near Boxhagener Platz and Simon Dach Straße (15 minutes walk), where all young people want to be. On the other side of the park (10 minutes walk) you reach a nice area with a lot of cafes, restaurants, shops, a great cinema with a various program. I lived in different areas of Berlin, but I think the combo between the quiet of the bordering green area, the beauty of its views, and its closeness to so many things makes it hard to beat if you want to love Berlin.
