The building is one of the few original historic ones in the street dating from the era around 1900. The apartment is located in a side wing of the house with access from the courtyard. It is split over two levels, Hochparterre (elevated ground floor) and Souterrain (basement with full windows). The two levels are connected by private stairs which received a wood finishing during remodelling. There is a kitchen/living room upstairs as well as a newly created bathroom with walk-in shower and third room on the upper level which could be used as an additional bedroom, lounge or office. The kitchen will be fully equipped and includes a standard oven, cooking field with fume hood and dishwasher. The fridge is new and large in size (70 cm wide). Both Tegel airport (various options with public transport) and Schönefeld airport (airport express trains from Alexanderplatz) are within easy reach. A very popular bakery (https://zeitfuerbrot.com/) and a convenience store are the two street-facing small businesses in the house. Once weekly cleaning (up to 5 hours, including ironing service if desired) is included in the monthly rent as are bills for heating, water, electricity, internet access (cable) and rubbish collection.
