Location: Prenzlauer Berg is a neighborhood located in the southernmost part of Berlin's northernmost district, Pankow. Until 2001, Prenzlauer Berg was a district of its own, until urban reforms merged it with the neighboring Weißensee borough to form the district of Pankow. Since the fall of the Berlin Wall and the German Reunification in 1990, Prenzlauer Berg has undergone a transformation from a working-class, blue collar neighborhood to a hip, multicultural, bohemian area. The 11 km2 borough is filled with eateries, galleries, small shops, and nightlife attractions. Boutiques and cafés line the streets, and the central location of the neighborhood only works to increase its popularity. One of the main sightseeing/free-time attractions of the borough is the Mauerpark (Wall Park), a spacious park which is located on the site along which part of the Berlin Wall ran. The park features a weekly flea market on Sundays, the Flohmarkt am Mauerpark. --- Sehr schön eingerichtete Singlewohnung in ruhiger Querstraße zwischen Kollwitzplatz und Kastanienallee. Super zentrale Lage und trotzdem absolut ruhig. Die Wohnung liegt „zwar“ ebenerdig und im Hinterhof (der ehrlich gesagt auch nicht besonders schön ist), ist aber so gemütlich eingerichtet, dass man sich da einen wunderbaren Rückzugsraum schaffen kann. Die Küche ist winzig aber super praktisch und gut durchdacht, das Bad ebenso - es verfügt sogar über ein kleines sylisches Waschbecken aus einem ehemaligen Hotel. Das Himmelbett ist sehr gemütlich - und es gibt ein kleines Schlafsofa für Freunde. Außerdem gibt es zwei Sessel und einen Tisch. Ein Kleiderschrank ist ebenfalls vorhanden.
