The flat is located in the front building, ground floor of an old building. It has 60 square metres, divided into 2 rooms, a separate kitchen with pantry/storage room, bathroom and a small hallway. In the last 2 years the flat has been extensively refurbished and renovated, the bathroom is completely new. The floors have all been renewed, tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, wooden floorboards in the living/sleeping area. There are still old Berlin double-glazed windows facing the street, which not only provide excellent heat and sound insulation, but are also beautiful, especially as they still have original fittings from the period. The room doors are also historical, refurbished with corresponding handle sets. The furniture is very individual, vintage such as shelves and cupboards from Flötotto, Benz leather sofas and a small old Biedermeier table with chairs. The bedroom has a 1.40 wide bed and a spacious wardrobe. In the front area there is a large table, which can be used as a workplace, with plenty of storage space next to it. The Hausburgpark is in the immediate vicinity; the large, lively Volkspark Friedrichshain is about a 5-minute walk away. The flat is very conveniently located, with S-Bahn stops (Ringbahn Landsberger Allee) and various train/bus stops (Landesberger Allee/Petersburgerstr.) 500-700m away. The street is quiet and parking is available.
