The whole apartment faces south, so the sun moves with you through the day from the bed to the living room. Plants love it here, too. You enter on the second floor through a heavy steel door. A few steps in, you pass through the kitchen, which opens straight into the main living space: a large dining table made for long dinners, a cosy fold-out sofa, and low, floor-level seating for cozy times. The balcony door leads out onto the fire escape, which doubles as a shared little space for you and your neighbour - very Berlin. The spacious, modern bathroom has both a walk-in shower and a bathtub.
