Welcome to our home in Friedrichshain! We’re taking a few months to travel and are looking for someone who will enjoy living here as much as we do. If you’re searching for more than just a furnished apartment—a place that actually feels like home—we hope you’ll love staying here. Our 85 m² Altbau is bright, spacious, and filled with natural light throughout the day. We've furnished it to be comfortable rather than minimal, with plenty of room to both relax and work. There are two dedicated workspaces, including a separate office with a standing desk, making the apartment well suited for remote work or longer stays. The living room is our favorite place to unwind. Instead of a TV, we have a projector and a large, incredibly comfortable sofa that turns movie nights into a real home cinema experience. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we use ourselves, including a coffee machine, air fryer, dishwasher, and all the cookware and utensils you could need if you enjoy cooking at home. The bedroom offers a generous built-in wardrobe with ample storage, while the bathroom has both a bathtub and a separate shower. While we're away, we'd really appreciate someone who can water our plants—they're part of what makes the apartment feel so alive. In return, you'll have a peaceful, comfortable home in one of Berlin's most vibrant neighborhoods, with cafés, restaurants, parks, nightlife, and excellent public transport all within easy walking distance. One important note for anyone with allergies: a cat normally lives here with us. She'll be travelling with us and won't be in the apartment during your stay, but we want to mention it in case you're particularly sensitive to cat allergens.
